A major international developer delivering one of the world’s largest mixed-use master planned developments is seeking an
Executive Director – Modern Methods of Construction
to lead the strategic transformation of how large-scale assets are delivered.
This is a
programme-level leadership role
focused on advancing industrialised construction, improving delivery predictability, and embedding innovative construction methodologies across a complex portfolio of residential, hospitality, retail, entertainment and infrastructure projects.
The Opportunity The organisation is delivering a multi-asset development programme of exceptional scale and complexity. As construction volumes increase, the business is seeking to institutionalise
Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), off-site manufacturing, and advanced delivery systems
to improve productivity, reduce programme risk, and accelerate delivery.
The Executive Director will operate as a strategic enabler across the development programme, working with delivery teams, designers, contractors and supply chain partners to embed
repeatable, scalable construction systems .
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the organisation’s
construction innovation strategy
across the development programme.
Drive adoption of
Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), industrialised construction and prefabricated building systems .
Identify opportunities to improve construction productivity, programme certainty and scalability.
Establish frameworks, standards and governance models to support adoption of innovative construction methodologies.
Work closely with procurement and supply chain functions to develop
manufacturing partnerships and off-site production capability .
Translate pilot initiatives into
programme-wide delivery frameworks and repeatable construction models .
Support delivery teams in integrating new technologies and construction approaches while maintaining commercial viability and operational practicality.
Candidate Profile The role requires a senior construction or development executive with experience delivering
large, complex development programmes
and driving innovation across the delivery ecosystem.
Candidates are likely to come from:
large infrastructure or giga-project environments
Experience should include:
18+ years in large-scale construction, infrastructure or real estate development
leadership of multi-asset programmes or major master developments
exposure to
industrialised construction, modular delivery or advanced construction methodologies
strong understanding of programme governance, supply chain integration and large project ecosystems
The successful candidate will be a
strategic thinker capable of translating innovation into practical delivery outcomes at programme scale .
