Leading General Contractor / Construction Manager in Westchester
Compensation $160,000 - $200,000
Location Westchester, NY (ONSITE)
As a
Superintendent , you'll play a key role in managing the job site from start to finish. You'll work closely with a talented team, including subcontractors and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities of the Superintendent
Oversee the entire job site process, from planning through completion.
Coordinate with subcontractors regularly to monitor project progress, schedules, changes, and deliveries.
Proactively identify potential design or scheduling issues and collaborate with the team to address them early.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and maintain OSHA standards across all job sites.
Maintain accurate documentation, including change order logs, RFIs, and submittals.
Foster clear communication between owners, construction managers, and project teams to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to design and local codes.
Preferred Experience of the Superintendent
5+ years
of experience as a Superintendent
Strong knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and safety practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills
with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Ability to travel to job sites across
Westchester and Connecticut
