Construction Superintendent

We are hiring an experienced Construction Superintendent based in Phoenix who is open to traveling to projects throughout California and Arizona. This role is ideal for a field leader who thrives managing ground-up and renovation commercial projects while coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and on-site operations. Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee daily field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel on site Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met Conduct daily jobsite meetings and safety briefings Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company safety standards Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents Coordinate inspections and ensure work meets quality and code requirements Track project progress and provide daily/weekly reports to project management teams Work closely with project managers, engineers, and owners to resolve field issues Ensure materials, equipment, and labor are properly scheduled and available Maintain jobsite documentation including RFIs, punch lists, and field reports Lead project closeout including final inspections and punch list completion Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent for a general contractor Experience leading commercial, retail, industrial, or big-box construction projects Ability and willingness to travel throughout California and Arizona as projects require Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and field coordination Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and jobsite compliance Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
