Overview
We are seeking an
Experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent
to lead ground-up and renovation projects in the Detroit metro area. This is a hands-on field leadership role focused on managing jobsite operations and delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities
Manage daily on-site construction activities from project start through completion.
Lead subcontractors and field crews to ensure work is completed safely and according to plans.
Maintain project schedules and coordinate inspections, deliveries, and trade work.
Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and inspectors.
Enforce safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings.
Monitor quality of work and resolve jobsite issues quickly.
Drive projects through punch list and final closeout.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
Experience with ground-up and interior renovation or tenant improvement projects.
Strong understanding of commercial construction, scheduling, and site coordination.
Proven ability to lead subcontractors and manage active jobsites.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
