Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced
Construction Superintendent
to lead
ground-up commercial construction projects
in the Omaha market. This role is ideal for a strong field leader who has successfully delivered large-scale projects from site development through final completion while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and schedule performance.
The ideal candidate will have experience on
large commercial builds ($30M+) , with a
strong preference for student housing or commercial construction projects .
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
Manage project schedules and ensure key milestones are met
Oversee site logistics, inspections, and quality control processes
Enforce safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance across the jobsite
Conduct subcontractor meetings and maintain accountability to schedule and scope
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to track project progress and resolve issues
Identify and proactively address field challenges to prevent delays
Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors
Qualifications
6+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor
Proven experience leading
ground-up building construction projects
Experience on
large-scale projects valued at $30M+ preferred
Student housing or multifamily construction experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, structural systems, and MEP coordination
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
