We are seeking an experienced

Construction Superintendent

to lead

large ground-up commercial construction projects

in the Grand Junction area. This role requires a strong field leader who can successfully manage projects from site development through final completion while maintaining strict safety, quality, and schedule standards.

Projects may include office, industrial, institutional, retail, and other large-scale commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel

Maintain project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved

Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance

Oversee site logistics, inspections, and quality control processes

Conduct subcontractor meetings and hold trades accountable to schedule and scope

Work closely with Project Managers to track project progress and resolve field issues

Proactively identify and address construction challenges to maintain project timelines

Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors

Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor

Proven experience leading

ground-up commercial construction projects

Experience on

large commercial projects ($30M+ preferred)

Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site development, and MEP coordination

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
