We are seeking an experienced
Construction Superintendent
to lead
large ground-up commercial construction projects ($30M+)
in the Colorado Springs area. This role is ideal for a strong field leader who has successfully delivered complex projects from site development through final completion while maintaining strict safety, quality, and schedule standards.
Projects may include healthcare, institutional, industrial, multifamily, and other large-scale commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure key milestones are achieved
Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance
Manage site logistics, inspections, and quality control processes
Conduct subcontractor meetings and hold trades accountable to schedule and scope
Collaborate closely with Project Managers to track project progress, schedule, and budget
Identify and resolve field issues proactively to prevent delays
Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors
Qualifications
6+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor
Proven experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects valued at $30M+
Experience delivering projects from start to finish
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, structural systems, and MEP coordination
Healthcare or hospital construction experience is a strong plus
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
