Retention Channel Manager
to own the
email and SMS lifecycle marketing channel
for our clients using
Klaviyo .
This role is ideal for someone who understands that retention is more than sending campaigns. It’s about building a
high-performing lifecycle system that drives customer lifetime value and repeat revenue.
You will manage the
retention channel end-to-end , from strategy and planning to execution and performance optimization.
What You'll Do Retention Strategy
Develop and manage the email + SMS lifecycle strategy for DTC eCommerce brands
Identify opportunities to increase repeat purchase rate, LTV, and retention revenue
Campaign Planning
Build monthly campaign calendars across email and SMS
Plan promotions, product features, lifecycle messaging, and segmentation strategies
Klaviyo Execution
Build and manage campaigns and flows inside Klaviyo
Implement lifecycle automation, including welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback, and replenishment flows
Manage SMS campaigns and segmentation
Creative Direction
Review email designs from our graphic designer and provide feedback to ensure strong conversion performance
Copywriting (Optional)
Write campaign copy if desired, or collaborate with our in-house copywriter
Performance & Optimization
Analyze campaign and flow performance
Deliver monthly insights, reporting, and optimization recommendations
Required Experience
U.S.-based candidates only
Strong experience managing
retention for Shopify / DTC eCommerce brands
Deep expertise in Klaviyo (email + SMS)
Proven track record of growing
retention revenue and customer lifetime value
Experience building and optimizing
lifecycle email flows
Ability to analyze performance data and identify growth opportunities
Nice to Have Experience with other retention and eCommerce tools, such as:
Recharge or Stay.ai
Loyalty or referral platforms
Subscription programs

Compensation will be structured on a
per-client monthly basis , depending on experience.
