Role Description As an Outside Sales Representative, you will regularly visit and tour customer facilities while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities. This role requires strong field presence, relationship‑building, and consistent engagement with both existing and prospective customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: completing daily call reports, submitting monthly expense reports, maintaining frequent communication with customers as well as internal office and warehouse teams, and participating in regular sales meetings.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the steel manufacturing and fabrication industry
Valid state driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation and customer‑facing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems
Proven negotiation and closing abilities
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in the sale of laser processed material
Sale of HSS products to manufacturers and fabricators
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
