Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all their employee benefits needs. This role requires a deep understanding of benefit programs, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor for all employee benefits-related matters.

Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution, ensuring timely and effective communication.

Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to assess satisfaction levels, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, underwriting, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of benefits solutions and exceptional service to clients.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in employee benefits to provide informed guidance and recommendations to clients.

Assist clients with plan design, renewal negotiations, and implementation of new benefits offerings, leveraging insights and data analysis to drive strategic decisions.

Coordinate and conduct employee education sessions, open enrollment meetings, and other relevant events to promote understanding and utilization of benefit programs.

Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to clients, summarizing key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits management or related field, with a proven track record of success in client-facing roles.

Strong understanding of various benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits, along with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with benefits administration software preferred.

Industry certifications such as CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP are a plus.
