Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible scholar for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands‑on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals. You will work closely with our elite sales leaders in planning and execution marketing and sales tasks.
This position will be based on‑site at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. The schedule for this internship is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.
Here’s what you’ll do
Responsible for accurate order entry including prices and quantities
Understand at a basic level, the sizing, grades, shipping/packing locations and pack styles
Awareness of product availability to effectively support the sales team
Communicate regularly through email and verbal communication with Account Executives/managers to stay up to date on any changes and or availabilities
Communicate with the internal transportation and or outside transportation companies to set up appointment times, follow up on no shows, and address cancelled orders to all parties involved
Qualifications
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related
Must be 18 years of age or older
Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self‑directed and able to work autonomously
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Pay Rate $18.50 per hour.
