The Asphalt Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth within assigned territories. This role focuses on commercial, municipal, industrial, and property management accounts requiring asphalt paving, resurfacing, maintenance, and repair services.
The ideal candidate understands construction cycles, project bidding processes, and client relationship management within the infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new sales opportunities within commercial and municipal markets
Conduct site visits to assess paving and maintenance needs
Prepare accurate project estimates and proposals
Manage bid submissions and RFP responses
Build and maintain long-term relationships with property managers, facility directors, and municipal decision-makers
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure project scope accuracy and scheduling
Track sales pipeline activity using CRM systems
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Compensation Structure Base Salary Range:
$50,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience)
Commission & Incentives:
Performance-based commission structure
Potential total compensation:
$75,000 – $120,000+ annually
Bonus opportunities for exceeding revenue targets
Compensation may include a combination of base salary, commission, and performance bonuses.
