Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking a Market Sales Representative to support continued company expansion. This role focuses on inside sales within specific industry segments and involves working closing with customers to understand project requirements, develop solutions, and generate quotes for custom products. The ideal candidate will come from a sales background and be comfortable using CRM tools, managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously, and guiding B2B clients through the sales process.

Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand project specifications and determine appropriate product solutions.

Prepare pricing proposals and quotations based on customer requirements and submit them for review.

Track active opportunities, follow up with customers on submitted quotes, and maintain accurate status updates until projects are either awarded or closed.

Research past and current projects to identify additional decision-makers and influencers such as architectural firms, engineering partners, contractors, and institutional buyers.

Maintain accurate customers with strong potential for repeat business and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to deepen those relationships.

Assist teammates by preparing quotes or pricing information when additional support is required.

Coordinate with project management teams by providing detailed information on new opportunities and assisting with updates if project specifications change.

Conduct market research to identify potential clients within targeted industries and initiate outreach to begin building relationships.

Provide product training to customers, expanding available solutions, benefits, and recommended configurations based on application needs.

Perform outbound sales outreach to generate new leads and project opportunities.

What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional sales experience.

2+ years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Prior exposure to construction, manufacturing, or building products industry is preferred.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation: $60k + commission opportunity
