A growing architectural and engineering firm specializing in existing building restoration across New York City is seeking a detail oriented Architectural Designer or Engineer to support façade and parking garage rehabilitation projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical detailing, understands waterproofing systems, and wants hands on exposure to restoration work from investigation through repair design.
What You Will Be Doing
Produce detailed façade and garage repair drawings including elevations, sections, and repair plans Develop waterproofing and building envelope details Support structural and concrete repair scopes Assist with material selection and repair specifications Collaborate closely with architects and engineers on active NYC restoration projects Ensure drawings meet NYC code and project requirements You will be involved in the technical problem solving process, not just drafting redlines. What They Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline 1 to 3 years of professional drafting experience Strong AutoCAD skills, Revit is a plus Knowledge of waterproofing systems used in restoration projects Strong attention to detail and collaborative mindset NYC building envelope or parking structure experience is required.
