Our client is seeking a
Key Account Manager
to manage & build their presence within
Natural and Conventional Grocery
accounts in
Texas.
What you'll do: Own strategic account plans based on velocity & volume potential Manage the current business and hunt new opportunities in the Natural & Conventional Grocery channel; monitor pricing and adjust on a weekly & monthly basis as needed to ensure alignment across a variety of skus, packages, and retailers Work closely with distributors, brokers, and internal local sales teams to ensure proper execution of programs
What you'll bring: 5+ years of sales experience in food and/or beverage, with some beverage industry experience required Current relationships with and a track record of success selling into Independent & Natural Grocery retailers required Spanish Fluency strongly preferred Experience working with distributors & brokers
(KeHE and/or UNFI required) Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license & access to a vehicle required Comfortable with up to ~50% regular travel within the assigned region Candidates must be based near a major airport in Houston, DFW, Austin, or San Antonio
