Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Medical Gas Systems
Location: Remote (preferably California)
Must-Have Requirements:
Proven sales experience (5+ years), preferably with medical gas, air compressor, or technical infrastructure products
Ability to understand and interpret technical engineering drawings or willingness to learn
Experience selling to MEP contractors, architects, engineers, or distributors
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
Self-motivated with a proactive, “hunter” mentality for new business development
Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and territory management
Ability to travel 25–50% domestically, including overnight travel
Job Summary: The Regional Sales Manager drives revenue growth across a multi-state territory (CA, NV, UT, AZ, NM) for medical gas and vacuum systems, facility pipeline infrastructure, and related products. This role combines direct sales, distributor and agent management, and technical expertise to expand business, maintain compliance, and deliver solutions tailored to healthcare, dental, veterinary, and other facility construction and renovation projects. The RSM will plan territory strategy, forecast opportunities, participate in trade shows, and educate contractors and engineers through technical presentations and lunch-and-learns.
Job Duties:
Achieve or exceed annual revenue targets across assigned product lines
Build and manage relationships with contractors, engineers, architects, and distributors
Present products with technical accuracy and guide clients through bid and design processes
Interpret construction and MEP drawings or coordinate with takeoff personnel to determine system requirements
Develop and maintain territory business plans, forecasts, and sales reports
Manage both new business development and existing account growth
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product compatibility and support pre-installation or commissioning
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to expand market presence
Drive initiatives to double territory business by 2028
Qualifications:
5+ years sales or service experience, ideally in medical gas pipeline systems, infrastructure, or similar technical products
ASSE 6010, 6020, or 6030 certification is a plus
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn MEP and construction processes
Valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable record
Ability to manage channel partners and coordinate with internal support staff
