
Regional Real Estate Analyst (DMV)

Summary
Lidl US is searching for the next Real Estate Analyst to join our team! The Real Estate Analyst supports the Real Estate Teams with all tasks related to acquisition, entitlement, and store construction.
What You’ll Do
Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements
Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans
Perform real estate market analysis including evaluation of competitors’ locations, acquisitions strategy, sales volumes, and other relevant information
Create analytic maps in coordination with real estate depicting key demographic, competitive, traffic, and decision‑making metrics
Assist in the management of the due diligence and permitting process to ensure that all development risks are identified and quantified
Monitor site development and store construction budgets
Maintain key data in internal real estate systems
What You’ll Need Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of commercial/retail real estate and market practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, balance priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field
1-3 years of experience in a related field
In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
Physical Job Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Travel Requirements:
This position commutes between stores, regional offices, potential store location sites, construction sites, and/or distribution centers up to 25% of the time
This position requires overnight domestic travel up to 25% of the time
This position will occasionally need to attend industry conferences and meetings along the Eastern Seaboard of the United States
