Nature of Work The Community Relations Internship provides an opportunity to learn about the planning, execution and implementation of Community Relations/Kroenke Sports Charities department. The position will assist with the coordination of department programs, community events and player appearances.

Examples of Work Performed

Assists with:

Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets community programs

Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets license plate campaign

Community Pride Ticket program

Autograph item donation program

Game night programs and events (occasional)

Department inventory management and organization

Data entry, photo labeling and department metrics management

Fundraising events activities:

Events

Colorado Avalanche Charity Golf Classic

Mile High Dreams Gala

Colorado Avalanche Charity Brunch

Online and in‑arena auctions

League initiatives

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum

High School Diploma or GED

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred

Currently pursuing, or recently received, a college degree

Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
