Job Overview Intra‑Cellular Therapies, a Johnson & Johnson company, is expanding its CAPLYTA® commercial team to support its growing impact in psychiatry. This Neuroscience Sales Representative (NSR) will drive sales performance, build relationships with healthcare professionals, and develop strategic plans within assigned territories.

Responsibilities

Drive sales performance and meet or exceed sales forecasts within assigned territory by calling on primary care HCP offices and select PC targets both in‑person and virtually.

Develop superior product and disease‑state knowledge and educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on‑label prescribing.

Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives and customize discussions and client interactions based on customers’ needs in a compliant and ethical manner.

Function independently with sales proficiency to meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.

Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share this information with internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and identify suitable programs/resources for each customer, practice, or system.

Provide special education to healthcare providers through appropriate programs that fall within ITCI’s ethical guidelines.

Work with District Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives.

Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best‑practice sharing.

Accountable for accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.

Meet or exceed all NSR deliverables.

Create and build a compliant business plan based on customer needs, resources, and products.

Complete all company‑related training within required timelines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, a valid driver’s license, and a safe driving record.

1+ years of documented B2B sales experience; previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, and/or medical device sales preferred.

Experience in antipsychotic and/or bipolar sales is a plus.

Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers, with a patient‑centric mindset.

High integrity and adherence to the Company’s compliance policies and procedures.

Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial drive, strong decision‑making judgment, and teamwork/collaboration skills.

Proven track record of adapting to evolving environments such as COVID‑19 to overcome obstacles.

Agility to adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment.

Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify opportunities.

Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.

Availability for meetings outside normal working hours.

Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays, corporate headquarters visits, and periodic training meetings.

Ability to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Salary range: $79,000 - $130,000.
