
Account Manager, Strategic Accounts - New England

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Account Manager at a large strategic account based in New England. You will be part of a team dedicated to enabling our customer to solve complex technical problems through a solutions-based sales approach. Product categories that enable our customers to succeed include spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and communication test systems.
Your Tasks
Understand customer needs and position Rohde & Schwarz solutions to meet those needs
Create new business opportunities, expand existing customer relationships, establish customer relationships in groups where we don’t currently participate
Gain market share from our Test & Measurement competitors in key groups and key applications
Grow the sales at the strategic account and exceed quota
Build and manage a strong sales funnel for the strategic account
Work with our Global Key Account Managers and other internal stakeholders to manage cross-site opportunities and projects
Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service, and development groups on customer product and application requirements
Your Qualifications
BSEE (or equivalent)
7+ years of test equipment sales experience or technical sales experience
An existing and active network of productive relationships within the strategic account
An understanding of RF/MW, Semiconductor, Wireless, and Digital technologies
Experience in managing large and complex accounts
A passion for achieving sales results, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed
Enthusiastic and responsive to customer requests and questions
Ability to work within a team environment with strong collaborating skills to achieve growth objectives
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills

This is a full-time position with a total compensation target salary (base + commission) range of $102k- 235k plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
