Job Summary The Instructional Systems Designer will apply expertise in learning models to review, analyze, and improve training materials, ensuring they align with high-quality standards for first responders and emergency managers.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze training materials visually for effectiveness and compliance.

Utilize the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) in curriculum development and review.

Collaborate on course reviews, audits, and re-certifications.

Provide recommendations for improvements in instructional design.

Support grant application reviews and 508 evaluations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of instructional design experience.

Understanding of learning models and experience in visual analysis of training materials.

Knowledge of ADDIE or similar instructional systems design models.

Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with emergency management training programs.

Proficiency in desktop publishing and graphics systems.

Salary Salary is negotiable and commensurate with background and applicable required job experience.
