Job Summary We are seeking a strategic, results‑driven Senior Facilities Director who thrives in complex environments and leads with accountability, innovation, and a safety‑first mindset. The Director serves as the single point of accountability for all campus facilities operations—Maintenance, Grounds, Custodial Services, and Central Plant—partnering closely with senior education administrators to align facilities strategy with institutional goals while ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic oversight of all facilities service lines
Own operating and capital budgets with full P&L accountability
Serve as the primary executive contact for client leadership
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards
Implement performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
Develop and mentor high‑performing management teams
Protect and maintain capital assets to best‑in‑class standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
10+ years of progressive facilities management leadership experience, preferably in K‑12 or higher education
Demonstrated experience managing multi‑service campus operations
Strong financial acumen with direct P&L ownership
Expertise in central plant operations and infrastructure systems
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Valid driver's license
Willing to travel during training
Open to relocation (preferred)
