Location
NYC office. Must be willing to work from Omnicom or client offices 3 days/ week, and occasionally travel for cross-office collaboration, productions and other professional obligations.
About the role The Sr. Social Strategist is a key member of the strategy team at dotdotdash. It ensures our ideas are deployed and expressed through the most effective and relevant social ecosystem of experiences and touchpoints.

The responsibilities
Develop and own a comprehensive yearly social content strategy aligned to brand, campaign, and business goals
Plan and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly social content calendars across platforms
Oversee scheduling, publishing, and execution through social management tools
Monitor audience sentiment and escalate sensitive or reputational issues when needed
Track, analyze, and report on content and campaign performance using defined KPIs
Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports and insights to inform strategy optimization and decision-making
Use performance data to iterate on content strategy, creative formats, and posting cadence
Constantly be hunting for social and cultural signals, new audience opportunities, new trends, new platform behaviors, and new content opportunities.
Stay informed with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies and actively seek out breakthrough creative benchmarks in the social space, and bring this inspiration to the team to challenge them to set the creative bar high
Support development of thought leadership and reporting decks to provide insightful, informative, creative and enjoyable information for clients to walk through
Manage the Community Manager and act as the first point of consultation for responding to comments, publishing content, analytics and conflict resolution.
Display the initiative and flexibility required from a marketing and agency professional
Understand how to express the brand tone of voice and personality, through partnership with Strategy Director, while continuing to evolve with priorities
Collaborate and listen to the account team’s guidance, take the lead from account management when it comes to prioritizing tasks and feedback based on client requirements and deadlines
The requirements
Proven track record of success in developing and executing social media strategies for brands.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Superior communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The qualifications
5+ years of Social Media experience, as a Social Media Manager, Community Manager or Social Media Strategist
Proven track record of successfully reporting and growing social communities such as; Instagram, TikTok, and YT
Comfortable working on a small team and wearing multiple hats
Team player with a strong, proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
Experience driving insights from social listening and media monitoring
Experience working on an automotive client (preferably)
Experience or familiarity with the following tools: Microsoft Suite, Brandwatch, or similar
