Content Marketing Manager

Prime Security, New York, NY, United States

Prime Security Prime Security is pioneering the future of Product Security with the first

Agentic Security Architect . As AI transforms how software gets built, we’re reshaping how it gets secured, shifting security to the design phase, where the biggest impact is made.

Backed by top-tier investors and already trusted by members of the Fortune 500, Prime is defining a new category and setting the standard for how AI will power the next generation of secure software development.

The Opportunity As our second marketing hire, you won’t just be executing a plan—you’ll be building the engine. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and the Founders to define and lead a new category in the Cybersecurity space. This is a rare opportunity to shape not only our external brand but our internal company culture from the ground up.

The Role We are looking for a proactive and out-of-the-box thinker who can pivot from high-level strategy to hands‑on execution. You will own our content lifecycle, with a heavy emphasis on executive social content, search‑optimized blog posts, and educational and interactive content to fuel demand programs.

Key Responsibilities

Search Engine & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): Plan, write, and optimize SEO‑driven blog content that establishes “why” our new category matters and builds Prime Security’s authority to drive organic demand.

Fuel for the Engine: Develop long‑form and interactive content assets (guides, assessments, tools) that support pipeline generation and move buyers through the funnel.

Founder‑led Social Strategy: Own executive thought leadership content across LinkedIn, X and newsletter, with a specific focus on ghostwriting and strategy for our Founder’s personal profiles to build authority for the brand.

Email Marketing & Event Ops: Manage end‑to‑end email marketing, including nurture programs, event promotion, and post‑event follow‑up sequences to nurture our pipeline.

Virtual Events Program: Produce and coordinate our virtual events series — from topic development and speaker prep to promotion and post‑event content repurposing (social clips, blog posts, etc.).

Own the Editorial Calendar: Manage the full content lifecycle: editorial planning, creation, publication, distribution, and performance reporting.

The Connective Tissue: Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, sales, and customer teams to ensure content reflects real buyer pain points and supports go‑to‑market priorities.

Requirements

Cybersecurity Expertise: 3+ years of experience in the Cyber industry. You must speak the language of CISOs and practitioners. Plus if you have application or product security experience.

The “Startup Spark”: Experience in a fast‑paced environment where you are comfortable with ambiguity and “building the plane while flying it.”

Multimedia Chops: Proficiency in tools like Riverside/Descript (for video clips), Canva/Adobe (for graphics), and HubSpot/Klaviyo (for email).

Location: Ideally based in the NYC area. We value the “war room” energy of being together as we build.

Work Style: Hybrid (3 days in‑office).

Why Join Us?

Founding Influence: Have a direct hand in shaping company culture and brand DNA.

Category Creation: Be able to say you were there when this new segment of Cyber was born.

Growth Path: As the second hire, you are positioned for rapid leadership as the team scales.
