You will play a pivotal part in expanding the band's reach across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, working closely with the artist and their manager to develop and execute engaging content strategies. The position requires regular in-person collaboration in NYC, making it perfect for someone passionate about music, storytelling, and digital growth.
Deliverables
Develop and maintain weekly content calendars tailored to each platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
Film and edit short-form video content, including Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts, during in-person sessions in NYC
Monitor and incorporate current social media trends and viral formats into content strategy
Collaborate on creative direction and targeted audience growth goals with the artist and manager
Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas to enhance audience engagement and brand consistency
Track analytics to measure growth, engagement, and campaign effectiveness
Requirements
Proven experience managing and growing social media channels, particularly for music or entertainment brands
Strong video editing skills with proficiency in editing tools for short-form content
Deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and audience engagement strategies
NYC-based with availability for regular in-person meetings and filming sessions
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creative mindset with a strong sense of storytelling and brand building
Experience in the music industry or music marketing is highly desirable
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with artists and management
