IMI partners with builders, contractors, and distributors to deliver high-quality products and responsive service that drive long-term customer success.

Role Description IMI is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth within an assigned territory, focused exclusively on developing new dropship business.

This is a high-activity, inside sales role responsible for identifying, prospecting, and converting new accounts. The Regional Sales Manager will build and manage a long-cycle pipeline, generate new revenue opportunities, and establish strong relationships with customers to drive sustainable, recurring growth.

The position is primarily office-based (Woodstock, GA) with limited travel for training, trade shows, and select customer visits.

Core Responsibilities Territory Development & Revenue Growth

Develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on net-new dropship business

Proactively prospect and identify new customer opportunities

Maintain high outbound activity levels (40+ calls per day)

Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline

Achieve revenue targets aligned with company growth objectives

Quoting & Negotiation

Prepare and deliver quotes within established pricing guidelines

Negotiate within approved parameters

Move opportunities from initial contact through closing

Relationship Management

Establish and maintain productive relationships with new accounts

Conduct follow-ups to ensure continued engagement and revenue growth

Position IMI as a trusted partner within the territory

CRM & Performance Management

Accurately track activity, pipeline, and sales performance in Salesforce and HubSpot

Maintain organized records and forecasting visibility

Monitor sales metrics and adjust approach as needed

Identify emerging opportunities within the region

Provide feedback on pricing trends and competitive positioning

Share insights to support broader sales strategy

Qualifications

3-7 years of outbound sales experience

Proven ability to prospect and generate new business

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

High level of energy and comfort with outbound calling

Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Knowledge of building materials or construction industry is a plus

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
