
Business Development Specialist

The Business Development Specialist supports the firm’s global M&A practice by partnering with lawyers and the Business Development team to help drive strategic marketing and client development initiatives. This role focuses on preparing client-facing materials, conducting market research, maintaining marketing databases, and coordinating visibility initiatives to support the growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare pitch materials, RFP responses, and deal sheets for partners and clients
Conduct market and competitive intelligence research
Assist with league table and directory submissions
Maintain practice experience, pitches, and contacts in the firm’s CRM system
Update lawyer biographies and marketing materials across platforms
Support marketing events, conferences, and practice visibility initiatives
Collaborate with Communications, Digital Marketing, and global BD teams
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment
Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred
