We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9‑week experience from June 1st to July 31st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands‑on exposure to the full product life‑cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About Our NARS Global Communications Team The NARS Global Communications team serves as the primary contact for over 45 markets worldwide, providing guidance, strategies and support for PR, influencer relations & partnerships, events, and communications needs. We collaborate cross‑functionally with all key departments at the Global level in the New York office to deliver comprehensive 360‑degree support to regions and markets, ensuring successful product launches and maintaining ongoing conversations.
What You’ll Do Support brand initiatives & seedings.
Assist, when applicable, with event/activation logistics (packing and/or shipping product, assembling gift bags, coordinating car service, etc.)
Log and monitor low product inventory in product closets
Inventory new product shipments, unpack and organize closet
Coordinate product and special packaging send‑outs to internal and external recipients, inclusive of securing branded collateral and organizing courier service (messenger, FedEx, etc.)
Competitive research/analysis for key projects.
Assist with competitor awareness/best practices (i.e., competitor press coverage, social media, seeding packages, etc.) under PR Assistant
Research and share relevant industry news to Global Communications team
Monitor NARS brand media and influencer mentions
Utilize department tools for tracking of influencer success and KPIs
Assist with tracking paid creator campaign results
Maintain Influencer and MUA contact databases for events and communications
Requirements
Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
Energetic, self‑motivated, results oriented
Flexible and able to function in a fast‑paced, safety‑first work environment
Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up‑to‑date with industry trends
