Our client, an award-winning architecture and design firm, is seeking a

Senior Interior Designer

to help build and lead a growing Interior Design team in their Dallas office. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a design professional who is passionate about mentorship, collaboration, and delivering thoughtful, high-quality interior environments.

The ideal candidate brings both strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset, with the ability to elevate design standards while helping establish and grow a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of interior design concepts from programming through construction administration

Collaborate closely with architectural teams, consultants, and clients to ensure integrated project delivery

Play a key role in building, mentoring, and shaping a new Interior Design team in the Dallas office

Oversee finish palettes, material selections, furniture specifications, and documentation

Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and presentation materials

Serve as a senior representative in client meetings and presentations

Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards

Contribute to business development efforts and help strengthen client relationships

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field

10+ years of professional interior design experience

Demonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring junior designers

Strong knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and industry best practices

Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design software

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

NCIDQ certification preferred
