
Senior DSP - Residential

Responsibilities
The Senior DSP will provide oversight to staff working within a 12 person or less ICF or IRA and is responsible for:
Serve as a mentor for new employees and assist in on‑site orientation and training.
Participate in agency activities under the supervision of the Program Manager.
Provide high quality supportive services to ensure that a safe, healthy and welcoming living environment is provided for residents.
In the absence of the Residence Manager, oversee daily shift operations, coordinate the scheduling of staff, and complete all records and reports pertaining to the shift they are leading.
Qualifications
Associate in Human Services preferred.
Minimum 1‑year experience in a direct‑support role.
Must have and maintain AMAP certification.
Responsible and reliable individuals with good judgement.
Responsible for a significant amount of documentation related to the people we support and program operations.
Travel and transport required; must have and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record obtained through LENS.
