has partnered with a well-established independent insurance agency, and we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Account Manager
to join the Commercial Lines Department. This role supports Sales Executives and Account Executives to ensure exceptional client service and retention. The ideal candidate will have commercial insurance experience, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer support in a collaborative team environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Partner with the Account Executive to manage an assigned book of business, with a focus on client retention.
Perform day-to-day servicing of assigned accounts, including processing audits and reconciliations, cancellations and reinstatements, policy change requests, auto ID cards, certificates of insurance, and evidence of property insurance.
Assist with the renewal process, including preparing proposals, invoicing, and premium finance agreements.
Maintain accurate documentation of client transactions and communications within the agency management and document management systems.
Prepare client and carrier documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Process online rating as needed.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in agency management while following established workflows and procedures.
Collect exposure information for new business and renewals as directed by the Account Executive.
Work a regular, full-time schedule onsite.
Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and clients.
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong technical knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn new systems.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of 1+ year of insurance experience within an agency or directly servicing clients
Strong understanding of insurance markets, policies, and products
Florida Property & Casualty (220) License required or willingness to obtain within an agreed timeframe
440 License may be accepted for non-remote positions with management approval
Valid driver’s license required
Must pass a background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
