Senior Account Manager
to service and manage a commercial book of business while supporting Account Executives in delivering high-quality client service. This role serves as a key client contact, guiding renewals, reviewing quotes, ensuring policy accuracy, and driving retention through proactive communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service an assigned commercial book of business
Support Account Executives throughout the renewal process
Guide clients through renewals, including gathering exposures and submitting to carriers
Review quotes and assist in proposal preparation and presentations
Respond to cancellation inquiries with a focus on retention
Ensure accuracy of policies, endorsements, audits, binders, and certificates
Process renewals, applications, supplemental forms, and excess lines documentation
Review and manage policy audits and facilitate disputes when necessary
Quote and bind Special Event, Builders Risk, and Flood policies per underwriting guidelines
Identify cross-sell and rounding opportunities
Partner with Account Associates and Account Managers to support team performance
Maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers through responsive service
Attend continuing education and industry training
Qualifications
2+ years of insurance experience preferred
Knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and regulations
Experience with AMS360 and ImageRight preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Valid driver’s license required
Must pass a background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Ability to work onsite, remote, or hybrid as required
