Commercial Insurance Account Manager - Hybrid

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a full-service independent insurance agency specializing in professional liability and medical malpractice coverage. This role is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, with a strong emphasis on professional liability for clients such as physician offices and legal professionals. The position requires a service-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client support.
Compensation Package
Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, with bonus potential.
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid model – 2 days in-office, 3 days remote (more in-office presence required during initial training).
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, with a focus on professional liability and medical malpractice insurance.
Handle all aspects of account servicing, including issuing ID cards, processing endorsements, certificates, and binders.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Quote new and renewal business, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Utilize agency management software (Epic preferred) to maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in servicing commercial lines accounts.
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred.
Experience with professional liability and medical malpractice insurance is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using agency management software; experience with Epic is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Must be comfortable with a hybrid work schedule and willing to be in-office more frequently during the training period.
