Our client, a Japanese Chemical Trading company is hiring an IT specialist in their Itasca office, IL.
Position: A Japanese speaking IT specialist
Industry: Chemical Trading
Salary: 80-95k base + Benefits package
Responsibilities
Manage Windows Servers and Azure environments
Administer M365, Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, DNS, DHCP, and EDR
Handle patching, scripting, imaging, and upgrades
Maintain network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, Wi-Fi)
Monitor and enhance network security and performance
Work with protocols like SD-WAN, OSPF, and BGP
Provide Tier 1–2 support and help desk backup
Manage IT inventory, updates, and vendor coordination
Respond to support tickets (Jira preferred)
Assist with disaster recovery, audits, and policy documentation
Evaluate projects and vendors; support proposals and planning
Qualifications
3+ years of IT infrastructure, operations, or network support experience in a corporate environment
Able to work cross-functionally and collaborate with a multicultural, global team
Japanese skill is a big plus
Travel is required (twice a year to other offices in USA)
