Position Summary
Credit One Bank is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, immigration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for supporting employees and fostering a positive company culture, and will gain a comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Summary Essential Job Functions
Support the talent acquisition function through execution and auditing of applicable processes
Facilitate the hiring and onboarding processes of candidates through the applicant tracking system
Support the execution of recruiting plans for open positions, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
Provide support to all levels of leaders, managers, and employees on HR policies and procedures, including immigration, employment laws, and regulations
Support administrative processes around new hire onboarding and paperwork completion
Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on talent acquisition metrics and trends
Proactively suggest opportunities for process improvement and execution
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
One to two (1-2) years of previous HR experience, including recruitment, employee relations, and immigration administration preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong administrative, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HRIS/ATS systems
Preferred
Previous immigration paralegal experience
Reporting and analytics experience
