About the Role
The Company is in search of an exceptional Associate Vice President of Sales and Business Development to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving the next phase of growth, with a focus on developing senior-level relationships, crafting strategic growth plans, and identifying new opportunities that enhance the live offering. This role demands a highly strategic, revenue-driven individual with a proven track record in winning, developing, and nurturing new business, as well as the ability to build deep connections with stakeholders. The AVP will be responsible for owning the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting to negotiation, and will work closely with the client services project teams to ensure a seamless transition of sold work.
Applicants should have 7-10 years' of experience in business development, partnerships, commercial strategy, or related functions, with a strong preference for those with a background in the print or digital industry. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, and a demonstrable history of success in a quota-carrying sales role. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to lead high-performance teams. While experience in sports, branding, signage, or live events is a plus, it is not essential. The AVP will be expected to represent the company at key industry events and to continuously seek out industry learning and emerging opportunities to bring fresh thinking that elevates the division.
