
Mechanical Superintendent (Onsite)

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions. Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work.
Qualifications
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required).
Experience in Mechanical construction, mechanical systems installation, and equipment‑related field activities (4 years).
Experience comprehending Construction Drawings/Prints.
Experience in people Management.
Experience with organization, schedule/planning, progress reporting.
Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data entry and uploads.
Experience completing QA/QC inspections in Unifier per frequency and activity completion.
Responsibilities
Analyze and verify all foundational project documentation, including Safety Policies, Contract Scopes of Work, and Civil/Mechanical Drawings to ensure field execution aligns with engineered specifications and contractual obligations.
Act as the primary oversight for the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), verifying that all erosion and sediment controls are installed correctly and maintained per permit requirements to ensure continuous environmental compliance.
Coordinate operational readiness by ensuring the EPC schedules Pre‑Construction meetings for all new tasks, and represent the project’s interests by attending Safety meetings, Craft Tailgates, and Management briefings for clear cross‑level communication.
Execute daily field walks to observe crew activities in real time, identifying safety hazards, monitoring progress, and maintaining a high‑visibility presence to support field crews and ensure best practices are followed.
Perform systematic QA/QC inspections and walkdowns for both Civil and Mechanical work, using standardized checklists to verify that construction activities meet required quality benchmarks before progressing to the next phase.
Manage the project’s digital footprint within Unifier, monitoring EPC uploads for accuracy and completing your own QA/QC inspection entries based on specific activity frequencies and completion milestones.
Maintain rigorous oversight of the Project Punchlist and all open action items, tracking these tasks from identification through to resolution to ensure no technical or safety deficiencies remain outstanding.
