Lead innovative footwear manufacturing, materials, and process solutions to reduce environmental impact as part of lululemon's Be Planet initiative. Direct the Be Planet footwear team, including roadmap, project briefs, workload allocation, timelines, budget (OPEX and CAPEX), intellectual property filings, and transition of knowledge/education/technologies to mainline. Partner with the Footwear Innovation VP to develop, own, and direct the Be Planet footwear innovation pillar. Champion, communicate, and be a storyteller of Be Planet innovation work through presentations, tools, and innovation manuals. Ensure cross-functional partners including product development, design, sourcing, merchandising, wear testing, and external vendors/researchers have up-to-date information/education on project and collaborations. Direct Be Planet team to adhere with go-to-market deadlines. Ensure the innovation process runs in parallel with all dates and gates, tracking concept readiness and communicating updates to cross-functional teams. Partner with enterprise and mainline leaders to ensure alignment between workstreams. Collaborate with Research for You and Unparalleled Feel leaders to translate and transition Be Planet findings into technologies and solutions. Ensure Be Planet intellectual property fillings are strategic, accurate, and properly filed. Coach and advise team members through personal development plans and career pathways. Up to 10% of telecommuting is permitted. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m - 5:30 p.m. Up to 10% Domestic & International travel required. qualifications

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Textile Engineering or a related field, plus 10 years of experience in materials innovation. Alternatively, will accept Doctorate degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Textile Engineering or a related field plus 7 years of experience in materials innovation. Of the required experience, must have 7 years of experience in: Designing sports performance footwear textiles (knits, wovens, nonwovens), polymers, and sustainable alternatives; and Working in product engineering with a focus on sustainability and green chemistry. Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in: Footwear product creation and innovation processes; Researching materials, manufacturing, and performance research findings (human and mechanical) and applying findings to create commercialized sports products; Working with circular economy principles and carbon footprint reduction strategies, including Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), and carbon accounting practices; Working with sustainable materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies in the footwear industry; Working with regulators’ traceability, and certification requirements. must haves

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this positionis from $225,750.00 - $245,750.00

annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
