As a

Solutions Engineer

at Ketryx, you’ll be a hands‑on individual contributor responsible for the technical portion of enterprise sales cycles.

You will guide prospects through structured discovery, run rigorous technical evaluations, and deliver demos and Proof‑of‑Value (PoV) engagements that show how Ketryx supports regulated software teams.

A core part of the role is acting as a pre‑sales solutions architect: taking real customer workflows and constraints and turning them into

repeatable solutions

focused on value.

You’ll do well in this role if you enjoy fast‑paced environments, can balance multiple active evaluations, and are motivated by helping customers connect technical capabilities to business outcomes.

This position is based in our

Cambridge, MA

office.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Ketryx is not able to sponsor or assume sponsorship of employment visas (including H‑1B), F‑1 visas, or OPT at this time.

About You You’re passionate about improving healthcare through technology.

You understand the challenges of developing software in regulated environments and can articulate how automation can transform this process.

You’re equally comfortable discussing DevOps practices, regulatory requirements, and business value.

You enjoy applying your technical background in a sales environment and contributing meaningfully across cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Technical Discovery & Evaluation Lead technical discovery with enterprise prospects across Engineering, Quality, and IT/Security to uncover toolchains, workflows, constraints, and decision criteria.

Run enterprise‑level evaluations, define success criteria that translate regulated‑world use cases into repeatable, reusable solution patterns across accounts.

Demonstrations & Value Mapping Prepare and deliver polished, customer‑specific demos that tie Ketryx to measurable outcomes (release speed, quality, inspection readiness).

Confidently handle objections and deep technical questions while keeping a clear narrative.

Sales Partnership, Enablement & Feedback Loops Partner with AEs to shape evaluation plans and demo flows, handle technical objections, and remove blockers between steps.

Partner with Sales, Product, Client Operations, and Solutions peers to improve cross‑functional collaboration.

Required Skills

4+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a comparable customer‑facing technical role (enterprise experience preferred).

Strong understanding of modern SDLC/DevOps tooling and workflows (source control, CI/CD, issue tracking, testing, releases, integrations).

Working knowledge of regulated software concepts (traceability, validation expectations, evidence generation, audit/inspection readiness).

Ability to run structured discovery and produce clear written outputs that drive next steps.

Strong presentation and communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Comfort discussing integrations, security basics, and enterprise constraints in a credible, practical way.

Ability to juggle multiple active evaluations and shifting priorities while maintaining responsiveness and quality.

Willingness to travel.

Preferred Skills

Comfortable working cross‑functionally in fast‑paced settings.

Prior experience in technical product software, especially in the life sciences space.

Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.

Familiarity with enterprise‑scale engagements.

Experience building reusable demos, PoV environments, templates, or lightweight automation to improve scalability.

Previous startup experience.
