Overview
Citi is seeking a Summer Analyst for its Commercial Real Estate Finance Group within the Corporate Banking division. The Group focuses on originating, structuring, marketing and executing secured and unsecured financings for publicly and privately traded REITs, sponsor funds, developers, C‑corps, and hotel management companies. Transactions include corporate credit facilities, financing in connection with IPOs and M&A, restructurings, bridge loans, and leveraged buyouts. Internship Details
The internship is ten weeks long and begins in June 2027. Responsibilities
Collect and analyze company information to assist transactions, including conducting industry research, revising, and organizing financial data. Analyze financial data and develop financial models, including company valuations, discounted cash flow analysis, financing, and comparative analyses. Create and finalize new business development presentations. Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams. Prepare required internal documentation such as control and compliance regulations. Qualifications
You are graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 and have a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above. Demonstrated commitment to personal growth and career development, a strong desire to learn, and success in team environments. Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills. Interest in building relationships with clients and investors and raising capital. Unquestioned commitment to ethical decision‑making and a robust work ethic. Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Compensation and Benefits
