Lawn Doctor of Royal Oak is a small, family-owned business committed to delivering high-quality lawn care with a personal, customer-first approach. We are seeking a dependable, friendly Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative to join our team.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers—handling incoming calls, assisting with questions, and helping homeowners select services that best fit their needs. You’ll play a key role in building trust, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting our sales and service teams. Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from new and existing customers
Assist customers with service questions and account updates
Convert incoming leads into new Lawn Doctor customers
Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that benefit the customer
Provide excellent customer service and build long-term client relationships
Follow up with customers after proposals, quotes, and completed services
Accurately enter and update customer information in our system
Ideal Candidate
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused with a positive attitude
Comfortable building relationships and trust over the phone
Strong communication and active listening skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with good attendance
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
Sales, customer service, or call center experience is a plus, but not required
Experience with RealGreen software is a plus, but not necessary
Training & Support
Hands‑on training provided for systems, services, and customer interactions
Ongoing coaching and support to help you grow and succeed
We value personality, professionalism, and relationship‑building skills over prior experience
