SCHEELS is seeking an E-Commerce Writer Intern who is eager to continue developing their writing skills while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced digital environment. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create compelling content that supports marketing initiatives across SCHEELS.com. You’ll write engaging product descriptions, long‑form content, category copy, and other digital assets that enhance the customer experience and drive sales. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced content professionals while building a strong foundation in SEO and digital content strategy. Responsibilities:

Research, write, and edit original, SEO‑ready content for category pages, product pages, and other areas of the website

Execute project work plans to complete tasks on time and adapt as priorities or requirements change

Collaborate with multiple content stakeholders to revise, measure, and ensure consistent, accurate messaging

Leverage AI‑powered tools to support SEO content research, optimization, and continuous improvement while maintaining brand voice and content quality

Ensure all content uses correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and structure

Adapt writing style to address multiple audiences while maintaining the SCHEELS brand voice

Requirements: Customer Service

Education & Experience:

Ideal candidate will have an interest in obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or related field. Retail experience is beneficial, but not required

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of forcefrequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary workinvolves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
