Summary and Objective

The Assistant Director of Maintenance (ADOM) for the [specific fleet] ensures the operational availability, reliability, and compliance of the assigned fleet within flyExclusive’s Part 135 operation. This role provides direct leadership, coordination, and accountability for day‑to‑day fleet readiness, translating maintenance and operational requirements into actionable execution. The ADOM works closely with Maintenance Control, Planning, QA, Supply Chain, and Flight Operations to optimize fleet dispatch reliability, ensure regulatory compliance, and meet corporate objectives for availability and performance. Essential Functions

Oversee maintenance readiness and dispatch availability for the assigned fleet, ensuring daily targets are consistently met. Lead and mentor contracted providers, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards. Monitor and manage fleet‑specific KPIs, including dispatch availability, return‑to‑service (RTS) times, and deferral management. Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize aircraft availability. Partner with Maintenance Control, Planning, and Supply Chain to ensure the efficient flow of parts, manpower, and tooling for the assigned fleet. Conduct trend analysis on fleet MELs, delays, and AOG events; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues within the assigned fleet, balancing operational urgency with compliance requirements. Collaborate with Assistant Chief Pilots and Crew Scheduling to align crew and maintenance availability for optimal fleet utilisation. Drive process improvements in maintenance execution, documentation, and communication to reduce aircraft out‑of‑service time. Support the Director of Maintenance Readiness by contributing fleet‑specific insights, reporting, and recommendations. Skills and Abilities

Typical office and computer lab environment with frequent interruptions. Exposure to loud noises including but not limited to airplane machinery and jet engines. Mostly indoor office environment. Must be available for on‑call duty during specified periods to respond to real‑time maintenance issues for the assigned aircraft types. Physical Demands

Must be able to communicate clearly via phone, email, and virtual platforms. Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching as required to carry out routine office tasks. Ability to occasionally lift and move office supplies or equipment up to 15–20 pounds. Required education and experience

FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Licensed Required. 3–5 years Textron Cessna Citation experience. This position is classified as a Safety‑Sensitive role under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and is subject to pre‑employment and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with FAA guidelines. Must be authorised to work lawfully in the United States, must provide two forms of Federal Identification. Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. This includes verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and any other relevant information necessary to determine the suitability for the position. Preferred Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or equivalent.
