echoecho is a Minnesota-based startup making fundraising easier for families and youth sports teams. We’ve built tools that help teams raise money through everyday purchases and community gear exchange.
We’re looking for a part-time
Startup Growth Intern
to help us connect with local youth sports organizations, especially youth hockey teams, across Minnesota. We’ve received excellent feedback from early partners, and now we're focused on growing our customer base. You’ll play a key role in expanding our reach by introducing echoecho to team leaders and helping schedule conversations with our team.
Success in this role means helping more teams discover and adopt our platform, using clear communication, consistent follow-ups, and curiosity to learn from each conversation. You’ll be at the front lines of our growth - helping echoecho serve more communities while learning what effective, respectful outreach looks like in a real startup environment.
Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to youth sports organizations using our provided contact list and call scripts
Send follow-up emails and manage communications to schedule meetings with team leaders
Maintain organized records of outreach efforts in a shared spreadsheet or CRM
Help test and improve our scripts and outreach process based on team feedback
Support proofreading and refining our outreach materials or website copy as needed
Research new team contacts and associations we haven’t yet reached
Qualifications
Friendly, confident, and professional on the phone
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-ups
Cold calling experience preferred
Interest in startups, youth sports, or social-impact businesses
Experience with Google Sheets, Notion, or CRMs is a plus, but not required
Background in sports or youth hockey is a strong plus
Other Details
Location: Remote or hybrid (preferred: based in Minnesota)
Hours: Flexible, approx. 8–12 hours/week
Duration: July–September 2025 (with possible extension)
