Continuous Improvement Intern
to join our team and support our continued growth. This position reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager and will work in our Katy, TX office. As a Continuous Improvement Intern in the Continuous Improvement team, you will be involved in meaning work and hands on experiences such as Project overview:
Identify the root cause of white colorant discrepancies in the Molding area. Will have to analyze data and map the current process and determine where discrepancies are being generated. Will have to implement corrective actions to reduce/eliminate inventory discrepancies. Project measurable:
Cycle count accuracy Anticipated output of project:
50% reduction of discrepancies generated in 2025. General Responsibilities
Performs all duties safely and follow all Igloo safety rules. Practices 5S daily and maintain a clean work area. Participate in all Gembas to listen the current situation and define the problem. Need to be very proficient in Advanced Excel, Power Point Any additional software or programming skill is a high plus, e.g. Power BI Able to perform administrative functions. Able to support automation projects. Be able to design concepts of new processes / workstations for manufacturing operations to promote ergonomic workstations. Provide technical support during new product and process introductions. Able to make and read and interpret blueprints and sketches. Other duties as assigned. What do we offer?

Coursework related to the internship role (Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Administration or related) To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:
Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and any additional and operation useful software Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide Warehouse environment: hot and humid during summer months Physical Demands: Manufacturing environment. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. Stoop and bend. Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills Dometic's Core Values
