
Construction Sales Intern

Position Summary The Construction Sales Intern will support the Sales Team in driving revenue growth across our commercial property service divisions. This position is designed for a motivated, business-minded individual interested in pursuing a career in construction sales, business development, or commercial operations.
The intern will work directly with senior sales leadership and assist in lead generation, proposal development, client relationship management, reporting, and market research. This role provides hands‑on exposure to a high‑performing construction sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the sales team with prospecting and identifying new commercial opportunities
Conduct market research and compile competitive analysis reports
Support preparation of proposals, bids, and client presentations
Maintain and update CRM systems and sales tracking reports
Attend client meetings, job walks, and networking events when applicable
Assist in organizing sales data and performance metrics
Support estimating coordination between sales and operations teams
Perform administrative and reporting tasks for the Director of Sales

Qualifications Required:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, Finance, or related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Self‑motivated and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred But Not Required
Prior experience in construction, commercial services, or field operations
Knowledge of asphalt and concrete services
Familiarity with CRM systems
Asphalt and concrete experience is considered a plus but is not required for this position.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Ability to lift 20-40 pounds occasionally
Occasional walking on active construction sites
Ability to climb stairs and navigate uneven terrain during site visits
Must be comfortable working in both office and outdoor environments
Schedule Flexible scheduling available based on academic commitments. Some early morning or site visits may be required.
Compensation And Benefits This position pays between $18.00 and $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Eligible interns working full‑time hours may qualify for applicable company benefits in accordance with company policy and Colorado law. Colorado Sick Pay
