Regional Sales Manager
to join our dynamic team. We are a growing company and are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to assist us with our growth and expansion. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and overseeing sales operations within an assigned territory for the company’s food products. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales plans, expanding market share, leading distributor and retail partnerships, working sales routes and events in distributor territory, and managing broker partners to meet revenue and profitability targets. Sales Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals. Identify new business opportunities within retail, grocery, and distribution channels. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategy. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to launch new products and promotions. Customer & Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotional agreements with customers. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service. Conduct regular business reviews with major accounts. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives and account managers. Set performance goals, track KPIs, and provide ongoing training and support. Conduct regular field visits and performance reviews. Operational Management
Monitor regional sales performance and prepare sales forecasts and reports. Manage budgets, trade spend, and promotional investments within the region. Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure product availability and timely delivery. Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred. Experience
5–8+ years of sales experience in the food industry, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or foodservice. 2–3+ years of sales management or team leadership experience. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Skills
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Analytical skills with experience using CRM and sales reporting tools. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
