A day in the life:

Assist in sales activities to ensure they align with company practices by learning effective time management skills

Support the General Manager/VP in the development of objectives and strategies for business development (Commercial HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Service)

Perform market research and assist in identifying market opportunities—potential customers

Competitors and competitive positioning

Help prioritize potential customers

Learn how to prepare and implement business development action plans for targeted customers

Collaborate with Building Service Sales team to assist with estimate preparation, proposals and presentations

Assist in developing sales strategies and tactics in collaboration with the sales team

Apply AI‑powered market research tools to accomplish the above while identifying industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior insights that can shape sales strategies

Use AI‑driven content and CRM tools to personalize outreach, strengthen customer relationships, and support the sales team in winning new business

You should have:

Show enthusiasm and motivation to learn and understand ColonialWebb's Business Development processes and strategies

Ability to focus

Orientation for growth

Previous experience utilizing AI in a professional or educational setting

Ability to handle day‑to‑day management tasks relating to diverse work assignments

Possess excellent administrative and analytical skills

Ability to use Microsoft Office, email, and CRM software packages
