Compensation
Salary range up to £80,000 plus up to 1.5% commission paid on volume. Year 1 OTE based on realistic and achievable targets is £150,000. Commission is paid monthly and is uncapped.
About the Role Our client, a well established investor and financier in IT assets and services, is seeking a Business Development Director to drive residual value driven fair market value IT finance deals from both existing and new name channel partners.
The position blends managing and expanding existing channel relationships with prospecting and winning new name ones.
Responsibilities
Carry a minimum year 1 target of £6 million of volume.
Deliver £3.5 million of your annual year 1 target from inherited channel partners, leaving you to fund £2.5 million of new name self‑sourced business.
Manage several existing channel relationships and identify, prospect, and win new channel partners.
Sell the benefits of RV–driven solutions to channel partners and their customers.
Help partner salespeople close £300,000 deals by working with their customers’ CTOs or CIOs to articulate why an RV‑based solution is better than a bank loan or using scarce cash reserves.
Qualifications
Must have a successful background in both new business development and account development in channel‑driven IT finance.
Must be located ideally within the M25 or within 20 miles of the M25.
Must be a true new‑business hunter; if not, please do not apply.
Must be able to grow engagement of an existing account by networking effectively to gain deeper mindshare from CEO down to multiple functions with an IT channel partner; if not, please do not apply.
Must be able to help a channel partner salesperson close a £300,000 deal by working with the CTO or CIO at their customer; if not, please do not apply.
Must understand how to sell the benefits of RV‑driven solutions to channel partners and their customers.
Our client is not interested in selling Finance Lease, loans, Lease Purchase or Hire Purchase solutions; if that is your focus, please apply elsewhere.
Location Ideal location is within the M25, with a target radius of 20 miles for exceptionally strong fits.
