
Sales Intern - Norcal, CA

The good2grow intern program is designed to develop and teach students basic sales and operations functions within the food/beverage/DSD industry. This role will be responsible for in store merchandising, selling, and communication within the grocery and convenience markets in a given geographical area.
Candidate must live in or around Norcal to be considered for this position.
Core Functions/Duties Sell, merchandise, and display good2grow products within the grocery and convenience channels.
Merchandising existing products on the shelves of grocery and convenience stores
Sell new products and displays to both existing accounts as well as new ones
Participate in distributor ride‑alongs, crew drives, etc.
Provide clear and concise follow‑up notes after ride‑alongs and store visits
Use VIP Karma app to track, audit, follow up, and execute store visits
Exposure to CPG Sales Operations
Allowed to observe weekly/monthly sales meetings from time to time
Allowed to accompany Regional Sales Managers in key distributor and customer meetings from time to time
Allowed to participate in company‑wide town halls
Administrative Duties
Submit weekly recaps to manager
Complete and submit timesheets every Friday
Required Education/Experience
Attending a 2‑ or 4‑year college academic institution
High level of organization and enthusiasm, required
Efficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
